How can we add an image to header and footer in excel in c#.net in a simple way ?

Hi All,

How can we add an image to header and footer in an excel sheet
(or on a word doc) without adding any other DLL as a reference ?

I've got these two ideas for different formats but the problem I'm facing is......

Suppose that when a user try to export any data to an excel sheet but by default we want to have a header and footer on the excel everytime when data is exported.(If you have any idea or code then please share it)
or
Alternatively , if I'm able to get the default header and footer after exporting the file to doc then how to bind the data to this word doc ?

I've got one code by which I'm getting the header and footer image in word but its using a different DLL file which I can't use.
but not understanding how to export it in excel sheet...
