Unable to open .xlsx file [Resolved]

Hi to all

I done one application by using MVC3 . i.e i am exporting the data to Exel .In .xls i am storing the data after opening it showing the data also,but .xlsx its opening but not showing the values (After opening it showing some error like this " Excel cannot open the file .xlsx because the file format or file extension is not valid").

Please guide me anyone,
