Facing the error in web.config file

Hi All,

Anyone please help me,
When I build my asp .net application, I have facing below mentioned error.

Error 101 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.
This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
D:\Solutions\FranchiseeManagementSolution\RetailWeb\Web.config 126

In the web.config file showing error this line "<authentication mode="Windows" />"
Note: I have create virtual directory in my local machine even It's through same error.

0	i was also getting the same problem, reason might be i have service pack 2 it should be 3 and i try to connect visual studio 2005 with sql server 2008.... Karthik2010_Mca, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator
