Why string is immutable . what happend in case of string in CLR . What is the difference from StringBuilder?

0	String is immutable we can create objects using string and the perfomance will be less. where as string builder is mutable the performance will be more. Ray.chayan, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator
