Hi

How to run sqlserver Agent service . I tried but following error comes

how to fix it?

The SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

I set also NT Service\SQLSERVERAGENT not working any one give soluton

0	Follow the below steps a) Open SQL Server Configuration Manager b) Choose SQL Server Network Configuration -> Protocols for SQLExpress c) Choose TCP/IP and Enable the status d) Then Choose the IP Address Tab. Expand IPAll section e) Go to the TCP Port and Set it to 1433 f) Finally, click on apply and ok Also find the document attached for a step by step guidance on the same. Follow the below steps

0	Hi, Most of the time this error get fixed when you are completely stop the Sql Server Agent and in properties set the option as Enabled. Once you restart the service it will work perfectly. Mani.R Jayakumars, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator
