Recover code that was wiped by Undo Checkout with Visual Source Safe

Remember that the undo checkout can undo the code in Source safe, but the code you have locally will not be changed by that, if the change that you want is made locally, you can just check it out again and check in and the changes will be stored in source safe

This is not possible unless you have some file recovering software. If you want to let the local copies reside as a result of the undo checkout event, always choose 'leave' option from the undo checkout dialogue. However, the default option is replace and that means your local copy gets updated with the one being undone for checkout and hence, your changes to the local copy are lost.
