0	There are two types of webpart created, 1... using the DLL 2... using the ascx page. You can give the reference of the Web part from your bin directory and if you are using the ascx page you need to give the path of the page. If you have created your webpart with the help of user controls then you need to copy the user control file (.ascx) to ControlTemplates folder of 12 Hive. I hope this will help you. Hello,

You can deploy web part at two places.

1. Bin directory of your web application.
2. Global assembly cache.

If you have created your webpart with the help of user controls then you need to copy the user control file (.ascx) to ControlTemplates folder of 12 Hive.
