Error : 7884 in SQL Server 2005 @ Event Viewer ?

Hi All,

I am having a dedicated Database server for our product. In DB Server I am frequently getting an error in Event Viewer >> Application.

Event Id : 18053
Error : 7884, Severity: 20, State: 1. (Params:). The error is printed in terse mode because there was error during formatting. Tracing, ETW, notifications etc are skipped.

This error often arising from my SQL Server 2005 with same Event Id : 18053. I am suspecting, because of this error, my query performance getting worse.

I tried with google. But no useful infiormation.

How to resolve this error?

0	Dear , The Error code 7884 implies a TDS protocol violation which most often is caused by the previous exception. you can find that by looking through your error log and finding out what the previous error is and rootcausing that.
