Need reference to host a asp.net application

Hi All,

I want to host a webstite of my own developed using asp.net and sql server. However i'm not sure on the registering DNS and other things. Can you please provide us a link where in step by step procedure is listed out. and i heard there will be free space providers, is there any reference on that?
