That means you need to Host it in your Local IIS.
Step 1 Make sure that you have IIS installed. in XP , you need a XP Cd and install it(If you dont know how ask , we will help) and in Windows 7 its already installed , so what you need to do is enable it (We can help also on that)
Step3 Copy the files that you want to access local in as a web app , and add them to a Folder
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\[MyNewFolder]
Please note that this folder can be anywhere , but for your understanding keep it there.
Step4 As you have installed IIS, open it , you can find it in "Control Panel-->Administrators Tools-->"Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager"
Open it and you will see a Default Website, Right click on it and Select an option "Add Application"
Step 4 You will be asked , the Alias(Name of the site, or name that you will use to access your web app)
Step 5 You will see the option that says Visual Path, Click on the (...) ellipses and you will need to browse to the Folder that you created in Inetpub
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\[MyNewFolder]
and click OK, you will see if you are using IIS7 there is an Option "Default Document" set the startup page and
Yahoo its done, right click on your web app in IIS and Select "Manage Application" and you will see an option that says "Browse" and it will show you your app , and from there you will see the URL , if your Computer is on the network , other people can access it with that URL.
