What is best way of XML creation and reading

Hi Friends,
Am planning to start one project. There i need to store data in XML in place of Database. So friends please suggest some best way (in terms of performance) to read, write and update XMLs in ASP.Net.

0	There are many ways, you can use traditional ways of reading and writing xml file that is explained in http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article160.aspx. The latest and more convenient ways is LINQ to XML - Read http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article1213-linq-to-xml-details-.aspx and http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article728-what-is-linq-to-xml-.aspx.
