how to restore the database for localhost to server

hi all,

i am developing database in localhost, but i want to restore it into the server.

anybody please let me know about the procedure

0	Hi , follow the below steps on the localhost machine 1) right click on the database you created 2) go to tasks --->back up 3) give the back up location with file extension as .bak 4) set back up expires to some later dates now move the .bak file to server on server machine 1) create a database 2) right click on the database you created 2) go to tasks --->restore -->database 3) point to the back up you copied 4) click ok Thanks Pavan Kumar Mark Answer if this fits the need Vanchi050585, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator

Hi ,

follow the below steps

on the localhost machine
1) right click on the database you created
2) go to tasks --->back up
3) give the back up location with file extension as .bak
4) set back up expires to some later dates

now move the .bak file to server

on server machine

1) create a database
2) right click on the database you created
2) go to tasks --->restore -->database
3) point to the back up you copied
4) click ok
