populate the column in the gridview using javascript in asp.net

Hi,

My requirement is I have one grid view and have colums as 'Hire Date' as date column. So now i want to put one calendar control on next

to Hire date column in the grid and when click on calendar (using java script) i should select date and should get populated to Hire date column.

please help me.
