How the system will know the Request from IIS?

I am having 50 users. They are continouly using the system.
If the 1st user send a request and he is geting the respone.
and snd user from another system and he is also getting response.
How IIS will know which request come from which users system.

One of interviewer asked this is asked by me? can you please explain?
