For the MVC 2 application, how do i format the text ?

Hi All,

For the MVC 2 application, how do i format the text ?

Scenario:
There are two button
button1: On click of this button the text present in a textbox(Multiline) should turn to Bold.
button2: On click of this button the text present in a same textbox(Multiline) as for the above one, should turn to Italic.
