I have one table in my Sql server 2005 database I need to copy the contents of the table into an excel sheet wih an event or method through the front end in the asp.net using C# code.

Hi,

You will get help from the below linke:

You have to fetch from SQL Server and without using GridView, just convert that data into Excel sheet.
