Doubt in dynamic input as a date

From the attachment i understood , by default you need to show all data which will follow no date range.Thereafter you want to give date range and re-populate the gridview. Is it what you required?
If yes , you can create a single strore procedure having fromdate and Todate parameter with default value set to null , so that when you load your page firstime , call the procedure without any parameter which in fact will return all rows. then , in the page after selecting fromdate and todate and click on generate button call the same procedure with fromdate and todate parameter .
Write the stored procedure accordingly .
I think it will solve your problem.
