How to capture the DeadLock information/error from SQL Server ?

But, I don't want to Restart the Server.

0	You can simple enable the following Trace.. 1222 1204 1205 So, You don't need to Restart the Server! Use Master Go DBCC TraceOn (1222,1204,1025,-1) Go - so, we have enabled the Traces to capture the DeadLock related Error on "SQL Server Log" globally (for all the databases) - These traces enabled until the Server restarted (or) DBCC TraceOff Cheers www.SQLServerbuddy.blogspot.com iLink Multitech Solutions Jasminej, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator

So, You don't need to Restart the Server!

Use Master
Go
DBCC TraceOn (1222,1204,1025,-1)
Go

- so, we have enabled the Traces to capture the DeadLock related Error on "SQL Server Log" globally (for all the databases)
- These traces enabled until the Server restarted (or) DBCC TraceOff
