Career advice from BPO to IT sector

Hi, My name is Ajit Prajapat I am b.com graduate and i also have done dot net diploma from NIIT two years ago but don't get job in same field and now working in BPO as a claim associate in UHG now i don't want to work anymore in this. Please suggest me career guidelines for switching career from bpo to IT

Hi Ajit,

Thanks for contacting us for career guidance. Doing diploma doesn't guarantee a job if you do not have knowledge about the technologies that companies are asking for. It's good that you had started working in BPO so at least you have exposure to the corporate world now.

To shift your career from BPO to IT, you will need to start from basics (at least for development job) as those experience would not count here. I would suggest you to read articles listed here (targeted for people who wants to start their career in IT) that should guide you to the right direction.

To sum up, for you probably starting up in smaller companies would be a good starting point in your IT career and then follow as suggested in the articles.
